The project aimed to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of the outlet while ensuring minimal disruption to its operations during the glazing replacement.
Scope of Work
Our team proposed the use of our traditional ‘wing’ type glazing system, featuring a grey-tinted solid polycarbonate sheet infill. This design not only met the aesthetic requirements but also achieved a class 2 non-fragility rating in accordance with CWCT standards. To support our proposal, we presented the client with a bespoke non-fragility testing report, derived from a sample test conducted at our in-house testing facility.
In addition to the glazing replacement, our scope of work included the installation of perimeter weathering flashings and hardwood timber purlins, incorporating a decorative finish to seamlessly integrate the new elements with the existing structure.
